Arunachal Pradesh (/ ˌ ɑːr ə ˌ n ɑː tʃ əl p r ə ˈ d ɛ ʃ /, literally "land of dawnlit mountains") is the northeasternmost state of borders the states of Assam and Nagaland to the south. It shares international borders with Bhutan in the west, Myanmar in the east, and China in the north, with which the border is the McMon Line. Itanagar is the state capital.
